Surgery Room

Surgery is one of the most sensitive procedures in the clinic. During the surgery, the patient will be monitored carefully. Blood pressure, heart beat/pulse, blood oxygen saturation and respiratory rate are monitored by machines. Depending on the type of surgery, fluid may be infused during the surgery by an infusion machine.
Recovery takes place in the pets' cages where staff can closely monitor your pet's progress until he or she is fully alert.
At the time of discharge, we usually send a special instruction sheet home with the animals. We try to make the instructions brief but thorough, and easy to understand.
Almost all patients of routine surgeries are discharged the same day. Some patients may need to stay overnight in the clinic.
